Today I did the stairs at therapy just a nice as you please! I went down the steps while holding onto the railing with only one hand, and then went back up without any assistance, just like a normal person!!
So, Tim (the physical therapist) says that maybe I can go home in "a week or two"!! That would be before Valentine's Day! He's somewhat hesitant, however. He thinks I am still too weak.
Besides climbing stairs, I just need to learn how to get out of bed without assistance, and into and out of the bathroom without assistance.
