I went to Fantastic Sam's yesterday and got my hair cut and styled by my favorite stylist, Naomi. It had gotten quite frizzy from the last perm I got in July. So I feel much better now.
Jenny and Andy and kids arrived on Thursday evening for the Labor Day weekend. Today there will be a cookout here later on this afternoon with Chris and family, Dara and family, and Melissa and family gathering (about 20 people in all). I hope it doesn't get too hot or too windy.
I am a little more than midway through the biography, Joseph Smith, Rough Stone Rolling. The actual text is about 600 pages long. I am learning things I never knew before.

I'm so jealous! I want to be with you all for Labor Day!!
I hope everyone has a great time!
Yeah, it turned out to be a pretty sweet rat-a-tat-tat party.
Hey, I think I know where you are getting those weird words from. At first I just thought you were all crazy, but the word from the word verification below is tukyz, as in, I can't wait until I get some tukyz during Thanksgiving Dinner this year.
Speaking of Thanksgiving, Chris, we have reserved the Church for Thanksgiving Day from noon until 5 p.m. in anticipation of a potential family gathering.
Spread the word. It may not be feasible for everyone to come, but, we at least have some options, now.
Bummer... I don't know if we'll be able to come.. Depends on how much $$$$ falls out of the sky on us in November. Especially since we'd have to fly.
We are hopeful! I'd love to see everyone that we've missed over the last year or so!
